As of October 2026, NitroData 4.0 is live. This release adds two important modules to the platform: a checksum calculation module and file restore to original.
Checksum Calculation Module
When you make a change to a file, the ECU's checksum values have to be updated too; otherwise the device rejects the file. Especially when working with clone devices, checksum correction often required separate external tools. With NitroData 4.0, this step has moved into the program: it automatically calculates and verifies the checksum values of the file you've edited, so you don't need an external tool. For cases like automatic checksum calculation with clone devices, you can now use this module directly from within the program.
Restore a File to Original
When you need to return a file you've worked on to its original factory state, you can do it in a single step from inside the program. You safely go from the modified file you have back to the original calibration, with no need to hunt for a reference file or start over from scratch.
A Refreshed Interface
The interface has been refreshed for both modules; it's cleaner and easier to use.
